Desperately needs upgrade

I bought thinking it had a brightness timer but all it had was a basic timer for "eye strain". Other than the day/night buttons it offers no improvement to brightness control beyond what you already get from the sliding control panel that debuted with iOS 7. To be worth $ suggest the following:

--brightness timer
--exceed iOS limits on dimming
--use hardware buttons to control brightness
